Here is a Reading challenge: Ask students to make images of all the reading books they can find. Make a collage of the covers of the books using Microsoft Word. On the back, write about how these books that you have selected to read have similar themes. Winner gets a variety of archival pens for their classroom. Contest open to teachers or individual students. Teachers submit on students' behalf please.

SUPPORT GO GREEN! Recycle Bin... We are interested in making the most of what resources and supplies we have available to us. Here's an idea that is inexpensive as well as fun! Re-use transparencies as page protectors or photo protectors. Use the whole sheet or cut to size over a transparency. (Be sure to check out our article about using transparencies in the e-magazine The Scrapbooking Classroom, vol. 2, issue 4.)
